Quad Cities Senior Pictures | Meet Adrien

The day of Adrien’s session was one that I’ll never forget.  We started off at Vanderveer Park and really before we even got started, the a camera man approached us to ask if we would be willing to do the good ole’ traditional “Hello, Quad Cities” to be featured on the evening news.  What a way to kick off a session.  Adrien held the microphone, Max and I piled in on one side and Adrien’s parents were on the other – what a memory!  This future engineering major was looking for a laid back, relaxed senior session and I think we nailed it.  Here is what Adrien had to say about his experience with Moxie:

“I found it to be fun and an experience unlike anything I have ever done. I was a little nervous at first but became more comfortable as the session went on. Karen did a great job of putting me at ease. Her assistant Max was great as well. He even played my favorite songs during the shoot.  I brought 3 different outfits and was happy with that. Karen was great about reviewing my choices beforehand and matching them up to the locations I chose. Looking back at my pictures and how well they turned out, I see how important that was. Being a baseball player, I wanted to incorporate my passion into a couple of shots. I didn’t have my complete uniform, so I took my glove and a bat as props.  There were a couple of really memorable moments during my session – #1 – when we got to our first location, the news was actually there so we ended up doing a spot and ended up on the 6 o’clock news.  Another great moment was at the end of our session when we were downtown. Karen turned around and noticed the most amazing sunset. We made a last minute decision to go up and take a couple of shots. The images turned out to be amazing and were probably my most favorite!  If your looking for truly amazing, unique and truly artistic shots, Moxie should be your choice. You are only a high school senior once in your life! (hopefully, lol).  I love Moxie Design because the entire shoot was fun and I have some amazing images to look back on!”

What is one piece of advice Adrien has for other seniors getting their photos taken?
“Just be yourself, relax, and have fun. Chose looks that you feel comfortable and confident in.”
If Adrien could describe his overall senior session experience in one word, what would it be?
“It’s hard to find just one word…unexpectedly fun, different, and just a good experience”
Thanks for letting us be a part of your senior year, Adrien!!
xoxo,
Karen
