We met up with Jillian on a warm summer day and I was excited for her session because I knew that the locations that we selected were going to work perfectly with her wardrobe options.  I was so blown away when Jillian’s mom had a fresh flower crown delivered to the park for some of her shots – it was breathtakingly beautiful! After finishing up at the parks, we headed to Jillian’s gym and got to try our hand at the balance beam and trampolines – it was an absolute blast. We loved working with Jillian and her awesome mom, Kimberly!

Here is a little about what Jillian had to say about her session with Moxie:
“My experience was great, Karen and Madeline made me feel comfortable and confident during the whole shoot. I was looking for a natural look with lots of flowers, woods and water.  I loved skipping and twirling in my flower dress and flower crown in the fields at Blackhawk Park! One of my fears was feeling uncomfortable and not knowing how to pose but Karen and Madeline helped me throughout the whole shoot with lots different poses and advice. One of the fun memorable parts of my shoot was when Karen and Madeline tried out their gymnastics moves at my gym! I would definitely recommend taking your pictures with Moxie, they are so nice and inviting and really try to get to know you. They are so sweet and they even got my favorite candy and drink! I love Moxie Design because Karen works around your personal needs and comfort levels!”

One piece of advice that Jillian has for other seniors getting their photos taken? “Wear things you are comfortable in and would actually wear, if your uncomfortable in your clothes it will show in the pictures.”

If she could describe her overall senior session experience in one word, she would choose  “fire” <– love that, Jillian!!
