Quad Cities Senior Photography | Meet Grace

Meet Grace.
If you follow our social media religiously, then you already know that my session this past summer was not the first time I have had the honor of working with this beauty.  Gracie and I met up four years ago on a freezing November day during her senior year. I will never forget how cold it was – and sleeting!  When we arrived at our location, I got out of the car, wearing my full snow gear and told her that if she wanted to reschedule her shoot, we definitely could and she responded in asking if she could go barefoot in her summer outfit.  I knew then and there that this girl was amazing and that is where our friendship began.  Grace is one of those people that absolutely comes alive in front of the camera and we have worked together quite a few times since that cold November day.  When she reached out to me and asked if I would do her college graduation photos, I was so pumped!  I knew that she would have some creative ideas, amazing wardrobe choices and I was just excited to be able to spend another afternoon with her.  I love that I am able to do something that I am so passionate about for my career, and I don’t ever take that for granted. But meeting people like Grace are the icing on an already pretty awesome cake. I love you, girl!

Here is a little about what Grace had to say about her session with Moxie:
“I love Moxie Design because of Karen and Sam and their beautiful personalities! My photo session was something I’ll never forget. It was truly amazing. My favorite part of the experience was all of the positive energy Karen and her team gave off.  I feared I wasn’t going to be comfortable with myself in front of the camera.  My outcome, however, was the complete opposite. I never felt so comfortable in my own skin.   The most memorable part was creating a life long friendship with Karen.  If I were to tell my best friend about Moxie, I would say that it was all worth it. From the preparation before your photo shoot to picking out your pictures at the end, is WORTH. IT.”

One piece of advice that Grace has for other seniors getting their photos taken?  “No one is perfect. However, you’ll feel like the most perfect person during your photo shoot.”

If she could describe her overall senior session experience in one word, she would choose  “love!”

I’m so proud of you, Gracie!! I can’t wait to see how you change the world.
xoxo,

Karen
