Quad Cities Senior Photography | Meet Bailee.

Meeting up with Bailee for her senior pictures was nothing short of amazing.  From the minute that I received her images for her wardrobe consultation, I knew that her session was going to be more like an editorial fashion spread than a senior session and I was absolutely correct.  This United High School senior is so gorgeous and she has an eye for fashion and all things beauty.  Here is what she had to say about her senior experience with Moxie:

“In this shoot I wanted to make sure I had a sense of diversity with each one of my outfits. The first two I went for a casual boho look but switched it up for a look more elegant as ever with my prom dress that I am utterly in love with. My last look I’d consider would be an urban style, yellow skinny jeans, black heels, a rooftop? It worked out.  My senior photo experience was absolutely incredible. I wish I continued to be empowered with a feeling such as the one I was feeling when we were taking countless shots one after the other. Karen instilled a strong sense of confidence within me. I was so comfortable with everything we did as if i had done it a million times before. Karen constantly had me laughing or left me giggling at her reactions to some of the photos she had gotten. I could not have asked for a better senior session. I fell in love with so many of the pictures she took especially the ones in my prom dress, I could never get tired of them.  Aside from a cute floppy hat Karen provided for me for my first oufit I let the location accesorize my outfits, sometimes the setting can pull together an oufit better than any piece of jewelry ever could.   I brought a red and yellow bracelet in which I wore for my second outfit. The bracelet contained flower petals from both of my grandpa’s funerals. I wanted to incorporate this piece because even though they aren’t with me physically for my senior year I know they are still with me regardless. I felt it was so so important to commemorate them within my pictures because afterall they made a very big impact in my life and helped me become who I am.

I left the location choosing to Karen. All I wanted was to make sure that I got shots in the water and on a rooftop, and she made that happen. Karen chooses the best locations. The location she chose for my prom dress was so stunning and completed the look.  I would say the most memorable moment of my senior session was honestly just Karen’s reactions to her photos she took. It was almost like as soon as she would take another picture she had found a piece of pure gold. I don’t know but just seeing someone so passionate about their job fills me with pure happiness.  I love Moxie Design because my expectations were exceeded.”

If she could offer one piece of advice to seniors who are getting ready to have their pictures taken, it would be:  “Do not be afraid or at all intimidated. Let everything you are doing come natural. Oh and even though some of your poses may feel awkward they usually come out looking the best. Enjoy every second of your senior session because it will only ever happen once. Other than graduating, your senior pictures are the best thing about being a senior.”

If she could pick one word to describe her overall session with Moxie, it would be perfect.

We had so much fun during your session, Bailee!  Best of luck with the remainder of your senior year!!

xoxo,

Karen
