Quad Cities Senior Photography | Meet Alannah

I was super pumped to meet up with Alannah for two reasons – #1  she was my first senior from Elmwood High School in central Illinois and #2 – I had just purchased a new lens and wanted to give it a try.
What happened next was absolute magic.  All of the stars aligned and we captured some pretty epic images that look way more like an editorial spread in a magazine versus a standard senior portrait.  Alannah has the most beautiful skin ever and her wardrobe selections were on point.  Max and I had to much fun with her and her sister and I absolutely love her final photos.  Here is what this future business and finance major had to say about her session with Moxie:

“Going into the shoot I wasn’t really sure what to expect. I had never gotten my pictures taken before so I thought it was going to be serious and I was a little nervous.  My overall senior photo session experience was unforgettable. Karen and Max made it so much fun by always holding a conversation and never having a dull or quiet moment.  I accessorized my outfits by wearing bracelets that Karen had brought. She definitely had an amazing selection of things to choose from.  My biggest fear of the photo shoot was it being boring or awkward. The outcome of that was the total opposite! Karen and Max were always talking and it was a great time!  I used one prop for my session. I used a volleyball and I decided to bring it because I have played volleyball for 7 years so I decided to incorporate it into my pictures since it had been such a huge part of my life.  We went to two different locations – the first one was in a beautiful park that had a lot of great scenery and spots for some awesome pictures. The second location was downtown and it also had a lot of great spots for pictures to be taken. Karen had suggested both of these spots.  The most memorable moment of my session was definitely the positive vibe from it. The whole session I was smiling and laughing and it was just an amazing time. Karen and Max made me feel very comfortable so taking the pictures was a piece of cake.  I love Moxie Design because of how much fun Karen and Max made my senior photo session!”

What is one piece of advice that Alannah had for other seniors getting their photos taken?
“One piece of advice I have for other seniors getting their photos taken is to just relax and have fun.”

If you could describe your overall senior session experience in one word, what would it be?
“Incredible”

Thank you so much for letting Max and I be a part of your senior year – I can’t wait to see what your future holds!

xoxo,
Karen
