Meet Adia. I was so excited for this Geneseo senior’s photo shoot because there were so many elements that we wanted to capture in her images – her artistic side, her love for travel, some whimsy with balloons – it was SO. MUCH. FUN.

Here is a little about what Adia had to say about her session with Moxie:
“I knew I wanted a photographer that had crisp, bright photos. It was important to match my personality and to have my pictures reflect who I am. I also wanted to include some of my hobbies including art and my adventuresome spirit. I loved getting to incorporate paints in to some of the photos.  What an awesome experience! Karen was fabulous from the start being very patient and timely with questions. She also provided great suggestions and feedback on outfits and accessories. Karen made it a very fun evening and took time to get to know me and what I liked. She even had researched some different ideas for highlighting art and painting in my session. It was amazing to get to see the magic from her camera and the eye she has for different backgrounds and angles. The teasers Karen shares in advance of your reveal add to the element of surprise and had me very excited to see all of the pictures. It was so difficult to pick a favorite! I am not very comfortable in front of the camera so I was worried if I would know how to pose or that I would just look odd. Karen and her assistant made it so easy and relaxing. Not only did she casually start the session getting to know me, but she also had a cheat sheet that helped show different poses to help me understand the look she was going for. Karen was patient throughout the night. She didn’t seem in a rush at all and you could tell on that afternoon and evening, I was her focus and priority. She even had my favorite lemonade and a Kit Kat for a mid-session break. I was so excited at the end of the night and could not wait to see all of the pictures at my reveal session. Karen really instills confidence in you throughout your shoot. As the evening progressed, I quickly relaxed and it was so much more fun than I had ever expected. We laughed and giggled throughout the evening and she was so positive and complimentary. The most memorable part of my session would have to be the laughs and giggles throughout the night as if Karen had always known me. We both got a chuckle out of each of our mutual bike accident stories. She clearly cares about her clients and really makes you feel special. It was more than just snapping a few pictures.  I shared my experience with my best friend and she is scheduled in the spring. I told her how simple and relaxing the session actually was. I felt comfortable the whole time. It has been fun to have the app to share my pictures. You cannot go wrong with Moxie Design! I love Moxie Design because Karen brought out my inner model and on that day I felt absolutely stunning – inside and out.”
