Meet Carson.
This handsome Geneseo senior and I met up last October on a day that was FREEEEZING cold. Not only was it cold, but it was spitting rain and super windy, which could quite often force a session to be rescheduled. I talked to his mom that morning and we both decided to just go for it and see what we could capture, knowing that we could finish up the session on a second day if need be. Carson is one of the sweetest and most genuine people that I think I have ever met. From the first few minutes when we met up in the bowling alley, to the very last shots outside along the river (where it is even colder and windier than usual) Carson’s smile never left his face. He has such an amazing energy and is full of so much positivity that it is contagious. I am so thankful that Sam and I were able to be a part of Carson’s senior pictures. Here is a little about what he had to say about his session with Moxie:
“I looked at my senior session as just another thing I had to do on the road to graduation but I have to say, I had a surprisingly great time! Karen made me comfortable immediately and from there it just got better. I felt like we became fast friends. I had secretly hoped the session would be shorter than planned but I had so much fun with them that it flew by. Karen and Sam were a blast to be with and I think you can see how relaxed I am in my photos. As a high school bowler I knew I wanted some on the lanes. I also wanted wooded and urban – we were all over the board but Karen came up with the perfect plan to make it all happen! She had great ideas on exactly where to go for the wooded and urban shots I was looking for and we couldn’t be happier with the results. I didn’t have any fears, I just thought the session might be a little long but it flew by and I had so much fun. This shows in my photos because I’m relaxed and having a genuinely great time! Towards the end of the shoot we were just laughing so hard and Karen actually just kept shooting. One of these shots became one of our favorites. It’s a black and white with my sunglasses on and I have the biggest smile on my face! It is so genuine and really shows so much of my personality. I would tell anyone that they need to book Karen for their senior session! This is something they will never regret. Their photos will turn out amazing because Karen is fun and goofy and will have you laughing in no time. You will look relaxed and natural in your photos and your true personally will come out. I love Moxie Design because my photos exceeded expectations!”
One piece of advice that Carson has for other seniors getting their photos taken? “Trust Karen! She’s the expert. You might think a pose is uncomfortable or a background is somewhat different but remember that she knows what looks great through the camera.”
If he could describe his overall senior session experience in one word, he would choose “unforgettable.”
Thank you for letting us be a part of your senior year, my friend!! Thanks for being awesome!
